For me wildlife photography is about escapism, seeking an opportunity to get away from the stresses of everyday life and immerse myself in the beauty of nature.
Since my childhood I have always loved animals and being outside. So now with a camera in my hand I get to record these memories.
All of my photographs are of wild animals only.
I live in East Anglia (UK) which means I am blessed with a huge range of natural wildlife, most of my photographs are based in this area, unless a special trip is planned.
I have been asked in the past ” how do you get such close images” well I do have a telescopic lens but mainly its due to weeks and months of studying breeds , watching and learning their habits.
A lot of work can go into one photo but the enjoyment of watching the animal is priceless.
One of my favourites as you might see when looking through my photographs is the barn owl and I have been lucky enough to have the privilege of watching a pair in the local area for the last 6 months nesting and the young fledgling. Studying these birds is not only an enjoyment but also it gives me the opportunity to sometimes be in the right place at the right time to get a good shot whilst respecting the privacy of the animal.
I hope you enjoy looking at my photos and if you have any questions please feel free to contact me at:
